
Ghulam Murtaza
Ghulam Murtaza is the Founder and CEO of SDGs Consultants with over 12 years of dedicated experience in advancing key Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), with particular emphasis on SDG 16 (Peace, Justice, and Strong Institutions), SDG 4 (Quality Education), SDG 5 (Gender Equality), and SDG 13 (Climate Action).
In his previous role as Director of the Peace and Education Foundation (PEF), he led high-impact programs with budgets exceeding anuual $1 million, collaborating with renowned international partners such as USAID, the European Union, the US State Department, NED, UNODC, USCIRF, Norwegian Church Aid and British High Commision (BHC).
These initiatives focused on various cross-cutting themes such as fostering peace, democratic governance, inclusivity, pluralism, pedagogical enhancements and climate actions through strategic engagement of multi-stakeholders. Mr. Murtaza has trained over 6,000 youth, faith leaders, media professionals, and political activists, contributing to inclusive and pluralistic societies.
